Busy Monday

Today is a crazy Monday, but I wanted to take a quick minute to write a quick update on my Dad. He is doing so great! I'm very pleased and thankful for his progress. He should be back to his old self in no time. I went to see him at lunch, and he was acting up as usual. Mom was there, and she was good, too. I think the stress of it all was really getting to her last night. But I think she got some rest and feels better now.

I'm trying to eat a little better today. Since Dad's stroke, I've just been eating whatever I've wanted. Food, unfortunately, is my comfort in times like these. So far all I've had is a cup of coffee and a ham & cheese crossaint. I'll probably have a bowl of cereal for dinner. And I need to drink some water, too.

Work has been typically nuts for a Monday today, too. Everyone wants everything yesterday. Luckily, most of the people I work with have been understanding about my Dad being in the hospital and me being absent last Thursday & Friday.

Well, I better get back to it... more to come. (I took a quick peek at Monday Madness, and I am looking forward to playing around with that later.)
